Experience:
1987-1988: Marmul well service supervisor. Maintaining the well
integrity of 200 wells. Supervising 20 well service staff.
1988-1989: Marmul field supervisor. Responsible of 11 gathering stations
and one main production station. Supervising 32 station operators and looking
after 300 producing wells. Production 8000 m3/d. Budget 3.5 MM $/ annum.
1989-1991: Nimr field supervisor. Responsible of 7 gathering stations and
one main production station. Supervising 35 station operators and looking after
250 producing wells. Production 14,000 m3/dBudget 4 MM $/ annum.
1991-1993: Marmul area co-ordinator. Responsible to maintain the
production targets and maintain the asset integrity of 11 gathering stations and
one main production station. Supervising 8 engineers and 100 technician and
station operators. Budget 12 MM $/ annum.
1993-1994: Government gas supervisor. Responsible of main gas treatment
plant, processing 12 MM m3 of lean gas to the government gas pipe line.
Supervising 32 station operators. Budget 7 MM $/ annum. Involved as
commissioning engineer for Butane plant, which cost 20 MM $. And it is producing
70 tons/ day of butane.
1994-1996: Lekhwair area co-ordinator responsible of producing 14,000
m3/d of oil and 4 MM m3 of gas for gas lifting and to supply to powerhouse.
Supervising 8 engineers and 80 staff.
1996-1999: Campaign maintenance co-ordinator , responsible of maintaining
and servicing of 4 major oil producing areas in Oman equipments. Supervising 100
PDO staff and 150 contractor staff, 2MM$ Opex.
6/3/2000: Moved to Yibal HSE advisor. Looking at HSE plans and supporting
the asset manger t and the team leaders to mange the HSE tasks in the area.
Consulting with 60 PDO and 600 contractor staff on HSE issues. Leader of
energizer team supporting to improve moral and reward system in the area.
Arranged two HSE workshops and attended by 120 senior staff of PDO and
contractor company¿s.
12/2003 to date: moved to Gas team as HSE (health, safety and
environment) advisor, supporting 100 company staff and 600 contractor staff.
Liaising between the gas team and corporate HSE department to comply with the
standards.
Producing the gas HSE 2003 plan.
Leader of the gas energizer team to promote and stimulate work force.
