Definitions

Fatality = A fatality is a classification of a death resulting from
a Work Injury, or Occupational Illness, regardless of the time intervening
between injury/illness and death. Note: the number quoted in this table
does not include third party fatalities.

LTI = Lost Time Injuries are the sum of Fatalities, Permanent Total
Disabilities and Lost Workday Cases. N.B.
If, in a single Incident 20 people receive lost time injuries, then it
is accounted for corporate reporting purposes as 20 LTI's (not 1 LTI).

LTIF = The Lost Time Injury Frequency is the number of Lost Time
Injuries per million man-hours worked during the period.

TRC = Total Reportable Cases are the sum of Fatalities, Permanent
Total Disabilities, Permanent Partial Disabilities, Lost Workday Cases,
Restricted Work Cases and Medical Treatment Cases. Sometimes referred
to as Total Recordable Cases.

TRCF=The Total Reportable Case Frequency is the number of Total
Reportable Cases per million Exposure Hours worked during the period.

JMR = Total number of kilometers driven per man-hour worked.

Exposure hours = Exposure Hours represent the total number of hours
of employment for work as defined under section 2.1.3 of the guidelines,
including overtime and training but excluding leave, sickness and other
absences.

VIAR = The Vehicle Injury Accident Rate is the number of company
and (sub)contractor employees who sustained an injury as a consequence
of road traffic accidents per 100 million km driven.

TROIF = The Total Reportable Occupational Illness Frequency is the
sum of all occupational illnesses whether or not they have resulted in
deaths, permanent total disabilities, permanent partial disabilities, lost
workday cases, or restricted workday cases per million working hours during
the reporting period.

CEPI = Composite Environmental Performance Indicator.
