Icicles are formed when the temperatures fluctuates from below zero to above zero and back to below freezing. Take care when working in close proximity to large formalities of icicles - building , temporary structures etc. Rising Temperatures or constant vibration due to operating machinery, construction activities or building use (door, windows repeatedly opening and closing) can result in icicles falling to ground. The result can be a serious injury or even a fatality.
