Safety Alert - Lifting Equipment
Three incidents occurred with the same type of crane (Hydra crane). One of them caused a fatality in Ghala industrial area (not PDO).
•Ensure all cranes are complying with international standards EN 7127-2-3 and EN 13000 or equivalent. •Ensure all lifting equipment meet PDO procedure PR-1708/09 requirements. •Ensure all lifting equipment is certified by approved lifting inspection agencies.
•Crane poor stability and •Lack in safety features.
