The theme for the Process Safety Day is "Know your role - Play your part"
Asset Integrity and Process Safety Management is a crucial matter for our survival and future success and yet so many understand little about it. The primary objective of this day is to provide a solid foundation for fostering an open dialogue between managers & staff about process safety.
Lots of improvement actions have been completed since the launch of the process safety programme in 2008 but we still have a lot to achieve especially if we look at number of Tier-1 and Tier-2 incidents that we had in last few years.
This campaign will be providing an opportunity to engage with staff and discuss what their specific roles are that contribute to the process safety performance. Also, this day will be used to address any concerns on AI-PSM and highlight what else we can do to improve our performance. |
