This presentation explains the background and key controls of the new mandatory rules regarding the "use of private vehicles in the interior" as defined in MD's circular on this topic dated 21/April/2002. An case is made as to WHY these rules are required.
In principles private vehicles shall not be used by staff to commute to interior work locations. Exceptions can be made but must be registered with the Senior Site Manager and controls for this journey are required. Whilst on their tour of duty staff are not to use these private vehicles.
