Drill Pipe Spinner LTI
After breaking out a stand of 5¿DP, the joint was spun out with the spinner. The driller lifted the pin end and the floor man unlatched the spinner. As the spinner was released, the second floor man tried to push the pipe with his left hand. The spinner slid downwards pinching the left hand index finger of the floor man.
Release spinner prior to lifting drill pipe. Do not place hands on drill pipe whilst spinner is attached.
