Learning points:

When a vehicle travelling in the same direction is creating a dust cloud that makes it difficult to see the road ahead, drivers must:

• Slow down;
• Keep a safe distance (at least four seconds) from the rear of the dust cloud, far enough back to be able to identify and stop safely if the vehicle in front was to stop suddenly;
• Never enter the dust cloud;
• Never overtake in the dust cloud. All drivers follow the Dust Code.
