2025 First Alert LTI#05 MVI Commuting bus collided with 3rd Party truck
While the bus driver was heading towards muscat international airport, a third-party vehicle truck driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed the other side of the road resulting in head-on collision with the bus. One of the passenger in the bus suffered fractured ankle, remaining passengers and both drivers escape without injuries.

Tire puncture of third-party truck leading to rollover from initial assessment of ROP. Main findings: Bus driver was in the right lane all the time. Bus driver was driving within the compliant speed. Bus driver reduced the speed and controlled the bus in a professional manner in a very short reaction period (6 seconds) All passengers and the driver were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.
